Upping the intensity . . .

Hey guys,
So after talking with Glen, it seems like it's a good idea to begin looking a little deeper at the moves that Barth is making. So let's all agree to do the careful reading before we come, and try and diagram out what Barth has achieved so far, and what he has left undone. Please write your thoughts down, and come next Monday to Glen's house in Shutesbury (94 Leverett Road) at 7:30pm!

Jakob's Well Gathering

Hey folks,
Jakob's Well is meeting at Grace Episcopal Church in downtown Amherst at 5:30pm next Monday (2/20/06) for prayer and discussion regarding their future structure and goals. Please come by. I am especially interested in the New Monasticism and how Leah think it might impact the direction of Jakob's Well Ministries. We might have an adhoc Barth meeting afterwards, but that shall remain to be seen.

Meeting tonight, 2/6/06

Hey folks,
Tonight we shall meet at Glen Franklin's house (#94 Leverett Road in
Shutesbury) at 7:30pm.  We are beginning a new chapter of the Church
Dogmatics entitled "The Word of God in Its Threefold Form."  We'll read
about the first form, "The Word of God Preached," on pp. 88-99.  The
following week shall consist of the second form: "The Word of God Written."
And the week after, "The Word of God Revealed."
